    Bring Dollars, Pounds or Euros in cash, not travelers’ cheques
    The local currency is ‘Kwacha’ and currency exchange available in Blantyre.
    Current exchange rate approx 142 kwacha per US dollar.
    Cash points also available in Blantyre, not reliable as have quite low limits on withdrawals.
    Expect to spend approx US$15/20 per day, depending on what you do and what you like to eat
    Your stay at the volunteer house will cost US$5 per night.
