Cycle Malawi 2017
Join us for an exhilarating ten-day adventure through some of Africa’s most beautiful landscape.
Absorb the breathtaking views as we set off from the bustling trading town of Salima towards sparkling Lake Malawi and its freshwater beaches, before pedalling along its shores for an overnight in Monkey Bay and then on to the beautiful old colonial town of Mangochi. Arriving at Open Arms Mangochi, you will be welcomed with music and dancing, before going on to explore first-hand the work that you are helping to fund and meeting the children that are benefiting from your challenge.
From here, we’ll continue south along the Shire River to Liwonde National Park, with the chance to observe hippo, crocodile, elephants and antelope in the river and on the floodplains, before taking on the magnificent Zomba plateau and spending the night in the old colonial capital. Our final push will take an undulating route across the southern region to the lively, bustling town of Blantyre, where we’ll celebrate with a well-deserved dinner and party.
This is your chance to do something really worthwhile; to make new friends, share a magnificent experience and raise money for the children of Open Arms.
