Keep on peddling and more …

We now have 18 people signed up and preparing for an epic 365km cycle ride across Malawi in September to raise funds for Open Arms. In addition to training for this huge challenge, they have been holding and planning fundraising events on the run up.

Beetle Drive

Alex and Alistair held a Beetle Drive and raffle in Knaresborough where they raised £462.70! Many friends, family and colleagues attended to support them both and Open Arms.

Quiz

Janine Crawford and Caroline Wilson held a pub quiz on Saturday at the Pax Inn in Wetherby. With over 60 people attending they raised £600 towards their fundraising target.

If you want to get involved with the next events to support our challengers there are a few coming up and more in the making;

Ceilidh at Bramham

On the 17th June Jan Crawford will be holding a Ceilidh at Bramham Village Hall. Tickets are £10 including a light supper.

Golf day at Harrogate Golf Club

And on the 14th July Richard Vanson is holding a Golf day at Harrogate Golf Club. It is £260 for a team of four, including a light lunch, 18 holes of golf and a post event barbeque. Friends and family are also invited to join the barbeque at a cost of £25 per head.
