Can you join us in walking, running, cycling, swimming from our UK office in Harrogate to our headquarters in Blantyre, Malawi – a whopping 12,361km – while fundraising for Open Arms Malawi?
To make this happen, we have teamed up with the World of Walking, a global charitable platform that enables participants to enjoy the benefits of exercise whilst fundraising, to provide you with a custom route map from the UK to Malawi. We’ll be navigating our way across the globe, ticking off milestones as we go.
Adults, children, individuals and groups alike can all count steps or track mileage, and you can even track your progress on the map. If you don't have a group to join you can join us in the private 'Friends of Open Arms Malawi' group by visiting us HERE. We need about 30 people to help us reach Malawi before the end of June!
You can also find a Visual Step-by-Step Guide with screenshots of how to join as individuals and as groups below.
Having celebrated our 20th anniversary in 2020, each milestone will share a little bit about the Open Arms story across the years and a bit about Malawi in those years too! We hope you can join us as we embark on this virtual journey to Malawi!
You can join us anytime you would like before the campaign ends, so get in touch and register your interest below. We'll send you all the details of how to join the campaign.
We need to raise £12,361 to fund the essential food and medical costs of our Mangochi Infant Home for at least the next 6 months. These early medical and nutritional interventions are crucial to saving lives.
As our first-ever virtual sponsored challenge, it is the perfect opportunity to raise as much funding as possible and support our team through this year’s challenges.
We'll send you updates and support for your fundraising every step of the way!
