JUST ONE PLACE REMAINING!
RideLondon returned in May 2022 with a new format, exciting new routes and a new partnership with Essex County Council. At the heart of this celebration of all things cycling was the RideLondon-Essex 100 – a unique opportunity to ride 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex.
We are delighted to have secured 5 places for the 100 mile event next year, taking place on Sunday 28th May 2023.
If you're up for the challenge and inspired by the difference your fundraising can make to vulnerable children in Malawi, don't miss out on this exciting opportunity!
This year will be the 10th anniversary of this hugely popular event, which was established by the Mayor of London in 2013 as an Olympic legacy event from the 2012 London Games. It will be the second year the event starts and finishes in the capital – on Victoria Embankment and Tower Bridge respectively – after a successful first edition of RideLondon-Essex in 2022.
The full route is pictured below.
Every day 320 babies in Malawi become orphans. Many die before their first birthday from malnutrition or related diseases. Infant formula costs more per month than most grandparents or other family members earn.
We feed and care for orphaned and abandoned babies until they can walk, talk and eat solid food, at which time we support their return home.
Just £32 could feed one of the babies in our Infant Homes for a month, so just imagine what your fundraising efforts could do.
Be part of the world’s greatest festival of cycling - a truly unique, fun and inspirational event - whilst building brighter futures for some of Malawi's most vulnerable children.
If you would like to find out more or would like one of our much coveted entry places in exchange for your fabulous fundraising efforts, please register your interest using the button above or email hello@openarmsmalawi.org.
One of our team will get back to you as soon as possible to answer your questions and get you all signed up.
We'll then send you a fundraising pack, your very own Open Arms Malawi vest and will support you all the way throughout your training and fundraising.
Go on - challenge yourself! We'll be cheering you on all the way!
Your donation will help children in Malawi grow up healthy with the love of a family
