What to expect

• Homemade cakes, traybakes, bacon sandwiches, hot drinks and light refreshments available from 10:00am–4:00pm both days.
• Friendly volunteers, great conversation and a relaxed community atmosphere.
• Tombola and Malawi gift stall

Group walk around Swinsty Reservoir - Sunday 30th (optional)

If you’d like to combine your visit with some fresh air, join our informal group walk around Swinsty Reservoir:

• Meet: Fewston Parochial Hall café at 10:00am Sunday 30th November for coffee and a chance to meet the Open Arms Malawi team.
• Walk start: We’ll set off at approximately 10:30am for a 3-mile flat route around the reservoir.
• Finish: Back at the hall — perfect timing to enjoy a well-earned bacon sandwich, cake or another hot drink.
• Company: Walk with members of the Open Arms Malawi team and hear the latest news and updates from the charity.

Parking note - If you’re coming for the walk, please park in the Swinsty Reservoir car park rather than using the hall car park. This helps keep space available for café visitors and volunteers.

Important information

• This is a social meet-up, not a formally organised event — everyone who attends or participates in the walk does so at their own responsibility.
• The route is suitable for children and dogs, but please keep dogs on a lead where requested and clean up after them.
