We are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to spend time with the Open Arms team in Malawi and work alongside them for a week, gaining first-hand experience of the life-changing work being carried out within local communities. As well as developing a deeper understanding of the charity’s impact, you will enjoy an immersive cultural experience in this beautiful country and conclude your journey with an unforgettable safari adventure. Throughout the trip, you will see the difference your support makes to vulnerable children and families while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Moving on from traditional volunteering visits, we have adapted and grown to create these experience weeks, which are designed to give you a deeper understanding of the work of Open Arms, whist remaining culturally appropriate to the work that we do. They are uniquely designed with the local team in Malawi where you will get to visit real communities.
We are now taking enquiries for our 2027 trips - dates TBC. They are open to all adults who want to make a difference.
