We are delighted to once again be taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, where in just one week we are aiming to raise £16,000 in support of our life-changing Graduation Programme.

One of the biggest issues families are facing in Malawi is securing enough to eat. Most of the population, especially those in rural areas, rely on small-scale farming to survive, but the changing and unpredictable climate is causing more and more harvests to fail - leaving many to go months without food.
Open Arms' Graduation Programme has been designed to empower ultra-poor families, all caring for orphaned and vulnerable children, to end hunger, improve health, generate income, and achieve self-sufficiency in just 3 years.
By equipping households with essential agricultural resources, skills and economic opportunities, the programme helps families 'graduate' from extreme poverty and dependence on external aid for good.
Thanks to the generosity of some wonderful key supporters, plus champion funding from The Coles-Medlock Foundation, we have an incredible £8,000 in pledged donations (our 'match fund pot'), waiting to be unlocked by your donations.
All you have to do is make your Christmas donation via The Big Give between 12pm Tuesday 2nd December - 12pm Tuesday 9th December and it will be doubled, until the match fund pot runs out.
Any donations over and above this amount will add vital funds to our overall total and allow us to help even more families to take charge of their futures and overcome poverty.
