Connect your work with Open Arms

Getting together with colleagues to support Open Arms Malawi can bring a shared sense of achievement, build team spirit and develop leadership skills. There are so many good reasons to fund brighter futures for children in Malawi in your workplace or as a company.

In your workplace

Raising funds at work can bring people together for a good cause and enhance your skills too, including project management and negotiation.

You can inspire people to support education and child welfare in what was the world’s poorest country, which speaks for itself. By helping children in their early years they can develop into capable, productive Malawian citizens.

It is easy to get started with our tried and proven ideas, and we can help you present the cause and find a fundraiser that’s right for you.

Here are some successful workplace fundraisers:

Working together

This year has seen over 40 volunteers travelling out from Johnson & Johnson group of companies, to provide care, security and a future for some of Malawi’s most vulnerable children.

Employees from SMBC Aviation Capital also made their third trip to Malawi to offer support through their work with the Malawi team.

Company fundraising ideas

As a company

Funding from corporate partnerships has allowed us to extend care into new communities, and plan for the future, so we can reach more children in Malawi.

Companies with a strong social ethos have partnered with Open Arms and the results are impressive. Whether large or small, we will be happy to work with you to identify projects that will meet our shared goals.

Companies can contribute funding, volunteer expertise, and even send a group to Malawi to see the positive impact first hand.

Companies who have worked with us have said:

Clarion “Every year our staff nominate suggestions and then vote for the charity they want to raise money for. We are delighted to support Open Arms Malawi as our chosen charity this year.”
Children’s Corner Nurseries “Our monthly donations help with the excellent work Open Arms do for their children. From all at Children's Corner”
SMBC Aviation Capital  “We are very pleased to continue this journey with Open Arms Malawi for the next three years.  This is a project which our entire team has embraced, both through fundraising and donations.”
Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies “Since 2006 J&J employees have empowered communities by helping to build orphanages, schools, feeding stations and houses. The J&J Open Arms partnership is literally changing lives.”

We would love to hear how you are inspired to help, and work with you to fund brighter futures for children in Malawi.
