In your workplace
Raising funds at work can bring people together for a good cause and enhance your skills too, including project management and negotiation.
You can inspire people to support education and child welfare in what was the world’s poorest country, which speaks for itself. By helping children in their early years they can develop into capable, productive Malawian citizens.
It is easy to get started with our tried and proven ideas, and we can help you present the cause and find a fundraiser that’s right for you.
Here are some successful workplace fundraisers:
- Bake a cake – excellent home baking at your workplace in exchange for a donation for children in Malawi, what’s not to love!
- Corporate challenge - Always wanted to run a marathon, but not sure you could complete the distance alone? Or fancy running with team members? A team relay such as the Yorkshire Marathon Relay could be the answer.
- Company quiz - Your company may be able to match fundraising to make the funds go even further.
This year has seen over 40 volunteers travelling out from Johnson & Johnson group of companies, to provide care, security and a future for some of Malawi’s most vulnerable children.
Employees from SMBC Aviation Capital also made their third trip to Malawi to offer support through their work with the Malawi team.
As a company
Funding from corporate partnerships has allowed us to extend care into new communities, and plan for the future, so we can reach more children in Malawi.
Companies with a strong social ethos have partnered with Open Arms and the results are impressive. Whether large or small, we will be happy to work with you to identify projects that will meet our shared goals.
Companies can contribute funding, volunteer expertise, and even send a group to Malawi to see the positive impact first hand.
Companies who have worked with us have said:
