2 New Admissions on 1st April

5 month old Chisomosteven had been looked after by his grandparents since he was born. Sadly his mother had died due to anaemia when she gave birth.

His grandparents made the difficult decision to send Chisomosteven to Open Arms because they are short of money and already looking after 5 other orphans. Luckily he is a healthy baby and will stay with us until he is around two years old when he will return to his family a healthy, immunised toddler.

2 New Admissions On 1St April

On the same day 9 month old Anastanzi was admitted. Her mother had died in October due to HIV related complications and sadly Anastanzi is also HIV+. She had also been cared for by her grandmother who is looking after 8 orphans and has nowhere to live. On admission Anastanzi was showing signs of malnourishment and was immediately placed on a supplementary feeding programme. Her family will be encouraged to visit and she too will be returned to them a happy, healthy toddler.

Just £5 will provide milk for a baby for one week, if you would like to donate to help feed Chisomosteven or Anastanzi

Your donation will help children in Malawi grow up healthy with the love of a family
