The London Marathon

Open Arms is delighted to have secured a place in the London Marathon 2021, taking place on the 3 October 2021. With only 8 months to go and only one place, register your interest today: https://www.openarmsmalawi.org/events/london-marathon-2021

Great North Run

If the full 26.2 miles is too much, why not run for Open Arms in the world’s largest half marathon on 12 September with 57,000 runners: The Great North Run. Especially if you missed out on last year’s, now is the time to register your interest:  https://www.openarmsmalawi.org/events/great-north-run-newcastle

World of Walking

We are also really excited to announce Open Arms’ first ever own virtual event: Walk to Malawi with World of Walking.

World of Walking is an online walking challenge that allows you to track a virtual route anywhere in the world, by walking the same distance. As part of a group, you can walk virtually all the way from our UK office in Harrogate to our infant home, in Blantyre. Along the way, you’ll reach milestones reminding you of the important work which you are fundraising for.

We’re hoping to launch the event for April but please do contact hello@openarmsmalawi.org today if you’re interested in getting involved!

After an unprecedented 2020, we hope that you can join us for some of the exciting plans 2021 promises!
