Muliena’s Return Home

In December 2011 you may remember that we reported the arrival of 6 babies in 6 Days.

Yesterday we said farewell to Muliena, who has gone home to Chikwawa with her family.

When Muliena was 4 months old her mother died from a TB infection. Her  grandmother, who was already looking after 4 orphaned grandchildren, could not cope with looking after another baby, and so Muliena came to Open Arms. She was one of 6 babies who arrived in 6 days (the smallest baby of the Left of the picture above)

After 2 years at Open Arms we are delighted that Muliena can go home to her grandmother, happy and healthy, and we look forward to following her progress through the Outreach Programme.
