Ride London for Open Arms

Earlier this year Dawna and Ollie dug out their road bikes in preparation for a100 mile cycle challenge, taking place this weekend!

Ride London for Open Arms

Dawna has visited Open Arms no less than 4 times getting stuck into building projects at the infant homes and in outreach villages. Back in the UK she has already helped to raise over £3000. This weekend she and friend Ollie will be taking on the 100 mile Ride London event that follows the route of the 2012 Olympic road race.

“For those that know me you know how much I love supporting the fantastic work Open Arms Malawi perform. I have been lucky to visit four times and directly see the difference this charity makes. I have been involved in building projects at the home in Mangochi as well as a feeding station/classroom out in a local village.”

This is the reason Ollie and I will be putting ourselves through the Ride London!! This is a massive challenge for me, I only got a road bike ahead of this race but training is going well. My trusty trainer Ollie has promised to get me round in one piece”

We are looking forward to welcoming Dawna to Malawi once again this September! Zikomo Kwambiri!
