This week has been an eventful one in Blantyre: one child returned to his family, and two new admissions.
After two years at Open Arms John’s father came to take him home. They spent three days together in the Transition Hut, getting used to the new environment of a village house and strengthening the bond between them.
All the Care Givers gathered with the Matrons and the toddlers to sing and wish John well for his return. Matron Rose delivered the reunited family to the bus station so they could travel the 80 km home, and went on Outreach to visit Justin who went home last month and is looking well
