It's been another busy year which has thrown up many challenges in Malawi and around the world. However the fantastic Open Arms Infant Homes team continue to change lives every day with their wonderful work and commitment to seeing every child living healthily at home with their family.
Wishing everyone who has supported our work this year a very Merry Christmas
Thanks to your support this year;
23 at risk babies recovered their health and are now home with a permanent family
Over 300 disadvantaged children and families have accessed support in their communities, making sure they stay at home and avoid long term intervention
Over 600 children in remote villages have had access to a local nursery school and a daily meal, supporting their growth and better preparing them for the transition to primary school
24 older children and young adults are being supported through primary, secondary and higher education, work experience and into business start ups as they transition into independent living with their families.
