The lotus flower is the national flower of Malawi and a symbol of growth.
Join us as we embark on a journey to make origami lotus flowers. We're doing this to raise awareness and funds to support the lifesaving work that mothers at Open Arms do every single day.
Your help will make sure that all orphaned and abandoned babies referred to the team are nurtured back to health so that they can return home to a family of their own ready to fulfil their potential.
Each flower is small, unique and beautiful, but together they will make a huge impact on the lives of children in Malawi.
How can you take part and make a difference?
After an inspiring presentation about the work of Open Arms from one of its young members, a local Brownie group then took part in our Love. Nurture. Grow campaign, purchasing and making 30 origami lotus flowers and creating a beautiful display with them in the shape of the Brownie emblem. How can your community group work together to make a difference?
