From seeing how our children are developing, the amazing support we get from our fundraisers to understanding the ins and out of running Open Arms, we’ve got it covered here.
I cannot believe that it is almost a year since I last wrote; where has all that time gone? Since I owe you all a whole year of gratitude, let me begin by thanking you.
It has been a year of change at Open Arms as we welcomed our new Director Charlie McCaulder, new Administrator Helen Hinde and new Matron Rex Mbewe in Malawi.
I arrive at Open Arms just before 7 am when the night shift are just about to hand over to the day shift.
Mrs Phiri, Kondwani and I set off from the home loaded up with maize at 8am to be greeted by busy Blantyre roads, with a variety of cars, people, animals and potholes to navigate.
Mrs Phiri and Kondwani covered a total of 276 km in one day last week delivering emergency food to seven families.
Your donation will help children in Malawi grow up healthy with the love of a family
Designed to be kind. Proud to support Open Arms Malawi.
