Lockdown diary - July

Our team continue to monitor the cases of coronavirus in Malawi closely with local medical experts. The infant homes and family homes have been locked-down for three months now, homes, outreach and support for our older children continues but slightly differently.

Returning home

Hadija Saiti was welcomed at Open Arms Mangochi on 2 June, 2017 when she weighed just 4.5 kg. She was very sick and her mother had just passed away. Following care and support at Open Arms, she is now healthy enough to make the big move home with her guardian!

As cases rise slowly in Malawi the team are following the latest medical advice and doing as much as possible to protect children and staff while continuing to run services.
