On 27th December Harrogate rugby club put on a charity match extravaganza with a battle between the Under 35’s v Over 35’s, the youngsters victorious in a 43 v 15 (estimated!) final score.
This week each of the 5 foster houses took it in turns to do their own Christmas Shopping at Mr Price’s clothes store in Blantyre.

Today is world AIDS day to raise awareness of the illness and to support those people affected by the disease. At Open Arms Infant Homes in Malawi, it’s a reminder of the plight the illness causes. 11% of Malawians are HIV+.
When Annie visited Open Arms she was led around Harrogate House by Joe, a little boy who a few days previously had tested positive for HIV.
With the number of people facing hunger in the Malawi of 1.97 million, creating opportunities for families to grow their own food is imperative.
